A few words about us
Let us introduce ourselves
Newcastle Chess Club is a newly formed club.
We play our matches at The Old George (Old George Yard, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1EZ) on Tuesday evenings and organise chess events in Newcastle City Centre.
We have two teams (Newcastle A and Newcastle B) in the Northumbria League in the 2023-24 season.
Everyone is welcome to join, whether you are an experienced competitor or a newcomer to the game.
